TOKYO SKYTREE
For me the best observation deck for admiring the Tokyo Skyline is the Tokyo Skytree. the tallest viewpoint at 350 m observation deck of Tokyo you can enjoy panoramic views at The observation deck - Tembo Skytree Tembo Deck and Tokyo Skytree Tembo Galleria at 450 meters. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Fuji. At 634 meters, The Tokyo Sky Tree is the tallest free-standing broadcast tower in the world. tall, compared to TOkyo Tower at 333 meters observation deck is at 150 meters and special platform at 250 meters.
The Tokyo Skytree is easily accessible by train through the Oshiage Skytree Station of the Metro Asakusa and Hanzomon Lines. It is directly connected to the station. You can also enjoy many dining and shopping options at the Tokyo Skytree Town.
One
of the best times to go up the Tokyo Skytree is in the late afternoon. You are
able to watch the sunset and appreciate both day and night time views of Tokyo.
As this is the best time to go there will be a lot of people. I would suggest
buying tickets ahead of time to avoid the long lines at the ticket counter. The
ticket counters are on the 4th level. For international visitors, who can
present their passport or ID you purchase tickets at the Fast Skytree Ticket
Counter at the West Entrance. (Tickets are Y2820 (18 years old & above;
Y2260 (12-17 years old); Y1580 (6-11 years old); Y1240 (4-5 years old). You can
also buy tickets at their website : www.tokyo-skytree.jp/en/.
Same day tickets are the cheapest among the tickets: Y2060 (adults); 1540
(junior); 930 child; 620 preschool. Tickets to the Tembo Galleria is purchased
available at the Tembo Deck for Y1030 (adults, Y820 (junior) 510 (child); 310
(pre-school).
The Tembo Galleria offers an
amazing view as you walk on the sloped glass galleria to the 450 meter
observation platform.
Don't forget to check out the glass
floor at the 340th floor before going down from the tower.
