Caffeine Fix: HIGH FIVE COFFEE STAND

We spotted High Five Coffee Stand on our visit to Matsumoto, Nagano last month. On the main road of the City, it’s easy to spot on your way to the Matsumoto City Museum of Art.  It’s on the right side of the road if you’re coming from the station. It’s only a few blocks walk from the station and just a short distance from the museum. We had finished our visit to the museum and Matsumoto Castle early and opted to spend the afternoon enjoying a cup of coffee here while waiting for our scheduled train back to Tokyo. 




















Enjoy watching the city pass at one of their window seats. There have plenty of seating and also a toilet. 






Part of the Matsumoto Coffee Roasters Guild, it’s a good place to enjoy a cup in the city. They have slow drip coffee, espresso beverages. They also serve sandwiches, cakes and pastries. 



We also wanted to visit another coffee shop just a stone’s throw away -Hop Frog Cafe . Unfortunately it was closed on our day of visit.
