On every trip I make sure to find time to try out local coffee spots. Luckily on a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur I had a whole morning to do a coffee crawl.
VCR
The day began with a light breakfast and coffee at a highly recommended spot - VCR. I visited their Galloway (Pudu) branch as it was closer to the hotel and the Thean Hou Temple.
With plenty of seating on 2 floors and a good selection of menu items, it’s a great place for brunch. For the best view & seating, I would suggest enjoying the second floor spots

Orders are taken at the counter then served to your table.
With really good coffee, this is definitely one coffee spot I would return to.

LOKL COFFEE
After the Thean Hou Temple, my next stop was LOKL Coffee. Good coffee and a lot of food options.
While here, you can stop by an alley with umbrellas just steps away.

PULP by PPP
Last stop for the morning was PULP by PPP. Located inside APW, you might miss it since the signage is a little hard to spot from the street. It's on the left side as soon as you enter the grounds.
When you enter APW, you’ll see it on the left. I had visited on a busy Sunday so as much as I wanted to stay longer all the seats were already taken.
Also, a really good spot for your caffeine fix. PULP has vegan options in their menu and a good selection of coffee and food items.
While waiting you can also sample some of their featured coffee blends.
They also have many coffee to take home. They also hold workshops like coffee appreciation, latte art and many more. You can see their workshop schedules on their site.
On the grounds are other restaurants and stores. There are special events also held on the event spaces.

Although a short coffee crawl, they were all good spots for your caffeine fix in Kuala Lumpur. I would surely drop by for a cup on my next visit to the city.
Other spots I tried on my weekend in the city:
EIGHT OUNCE COFFEE
While in Genting Highlands, I came across one of their shops. You can visit one of their 5 branches in Kuala Lumpur.

FRANCO
If you find yourself at Nu Sentral, a good spot to take a break from shopping is at Franco. They’ve got good coffee and food.
