TOKYO TOWER

This iconic tower is a just 5-15 minute walk from the train station. 5 minute from the Akabanebashi station of the Oedo line and 15 mins from the North exit of Hamamatsucho Station. The walk from the Akabaneshi is an uphill walk. You can also take a bus to the Tower. Taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris, this tower was built in 1958. It has 2 observation decks - the main observatory at 150 m and special observatory at 250 m. 

A Lookdown window allows you to  view the street below and walk on glass at the height of 145 meters. 

There is a tower shaped post box on the main observatory. Mail sent from here has a special post mark.

Entrance fee:   Tickets to the Main observatory are Y900 (Adult); 500 (junior); 400 (child). To get to the special observatory deck you'll need to pay an additional Y700 (adult); Y500 (junior);  Y400(child)
