One of the best ways to maximize any trip is to visit the tourism website of your destination to get ongoing and upcoming events, economical passes, and other tourist related discounts.

They also have apps you can download for free to facilitate your visit. 

2. OCTOPUS CARD:
Get an octopus card to make train travel easier. It is a prepaid card you can even use at several stores like 711, Starbucks, and many more. You won't need to get a ticket every time you ride the train. This will save you a lot of time.

Cost: Standard Octopus: Adult Deposit HK $ 50; Initial Stored Value: HK$100; They also have a On-loan Octopus card which holds no deposit and left balance is refundable. You’ll have to pay a refundable deposit to cover card cost
